MARION'S COTTAGE

The place was even better than we could have hoped. It was about 5 mins from Mohegan but felt like a different world. So peaceful and beautiful. The home was so welcoming and comfortable and clean. The horses were picturesque. The owner happened to be there and gave us a tour of the farm. He is a wonderful and friendly person. Everything about the stay was spectacular.

If peace and quiet with a beautiful view is what you need or what, don’t look any further as this home is perfect. We stayed for two nights which was clearly not enough time! The home is exactly what is pictured and immaculate. Waking up in the morning and watching the horses in the pasture was amazing. The big bonus was the ability to bring our dog! We’re already talking about when we can come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and well-equipped home! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. My kids especially loved the unique experience of getting a horseback riding lesson at the equestrian center next door – it was such a fun and memorable addition to our trip. The location was easy access to nearby Connecticut destinations, making it the perfect spot for exploring the area. We felt right at home and would definitely recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and fun activities nearby.

Marion's Cottage was by far the nicest AirBnB we've ever stayed in. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and everything in the kitchen is high-end. The home and the property are unique in the best way! It's spacious and bright, with windows and skylights throughout, and has amazing views. We especially loved watching the horses. It has a (very rare in this area) king-sized bed, and a room on the lower level with twin beds where my granddaughters could stay overnight. Next time we go we'll be sure to book horse rides for them.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The home and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The home is full of natural light, spacious, and clean. We definitely would love to stay here again!

This is easily the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Absolutely gorgeous views of horses, very safe, inside was decorated so beautifully, and everything was very clean and bright. We had everything we needed. Alexis was very responsive when any questions came up she responded within 10 mins. This was the most perfect place for our intimate baby shower and we couldn’t be more impressed! Thank you to Alexis and the owners! 10/10 recommend.
