Ages:
Recommended for youth ages 10–17. Participants will be grouped according to age and experience whenever possible to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience.

What Makes Wisdom Through Horses Different?
This isn’t a traditional horse camp. Every activity is intentionally designed to help young people grow—not only as horsemen and horsewomen, but as confident, compassionate, and capable individuals.

Participants will experience:
• Horse care and daily barn responsibilities
• Groundwork and horse communication
• Riding instruction (experience appropriate)
• Confidence and leadership activities
• Team-building challenges
• Nature hikes and exploration across our 250-acre property
• Campfire evenings
• Personal reflection and journaling
• Friendship and community
• Plenty of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories

Camping Under the Stars:
When the riding day ends, the adventure continues. Campers will spend two nights camping on the beautiful grounds of Silver Brook Stables, surrounded by horses, nature, and the peaceful sounds of the countryside.

Evening activities may include:
• Campfire stories and s’mores
• Horse-themed games
• Stargazing
• Leadership challenges
• Guided reflection
• Nature walks
• Morning chores with the horses
• Sunrise at the barn

These evenings often become the moments campers remember most. Camping provides an opportunity to unplug from technology, build independence, strengthen friendships, and experience the unique rhythm of life on a working horse farm.

To provide individualized instruction and a meaningful experience, each retreat is limited to 8–10 participants. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
